Hey guys I've got a large shank (savage WSM action ) Shilen stainless select match 26" 8 twist barrel in varmint contour that I no longer have a need for . The round count is around 75. Recesed target crown.

I am not a savge guy but I own one, in 308 winchester its built on a long action and is an older 110 tactical model. I dont know about shank size so maybe you can tell me if it will work or some one else will chime in?

If it is a 308 I'm almost positive it is a standard shank . The 260 barrel is one I had made for a WSM action I had. Savage WSM actions use a larger shank in order to increase chamber wall thickness.
That being said , If you have a good smith that you trust the barrel shank could be turned down and re-threaded for your action .

Is barrel still for sale ?Do you have the bolt face that goes with the 260 for sale or are you going to be using it.

I think he was using his 22-250 bolt, but new bolt heads are cheap for savages.....$30 I think from midway......

Yes , The barrel is still for sale.
No , I was head spacing off of my 22-250 bolt.
