OK....I am not a Savage Guy, but my Son has a 110DL that is about 35 years old...

what does the Small Shank CM mean?

Do you think this would fit his rifle?

It would be nice to have a back up BBL for years down the road....His current gun is in 30-06 too....

If you think this will work for his application, Blued finish LH 3006 11o Savage, I'll take it!

Gun Oil, The small shank will fit the older actions, head space is adjusted via the barrel nut, and a go gauge.

You dont happen to know what model it came off of that it is large shank do you? I wasnt aware they made it in large shank.

Great! This is a really cool deal for my kid....He LOVES his Savage, and this will allow him to shoot it for years to come.

Curious what the "CM" means?

"CM" means chromoly, as in a blued barrel, not stainless.
