Some things I'm looking for

I'm looking for a budget custom build. If you have any of the following items, pm me, or email at tykempster@hotmail.com

Savage target action (right bolt, left port)
338 barrel blank, finish @ 30" or longer
A nice long range stock, I like the Stockade Tactical/Prairie Dog, maybe something else
Bushnell 4200 6-24x 30mm
Savage short action +20 moa base
Tactical rings

I may not be able to buy these items until after June 4th, after I take my ACT. (32 required to get the rifle, and these items to build it.)

Isn't a 32 perfect for the ACT?

36 is perfect on ACT. I got a 35 on a practice test.

32 is brite flite (save $4000 on any University).

I get to spend $2000 on a rifle if I get the brite flite.

That would definitely be some motivation to score well.

I have a LRPV action (RB/LP), tried it out last Friday. A little clunky to me....just weird. I will shoot it again and wait and see.

How are you planning to open up the hole in the side to accept the rounds?

Will be building a 338 RUM on a single shot, large shank action. Barrel from Mike Rock should be here next month.

308 Nate (who's doing the build hopefully) says 300 RUM brass clear the ejection port, I'll just pull the bolt for loaded rounds.

Not any chance you want to get rid of that action for a rb/rb?
