im not sure what you mean by large shank savage, but this bbl will work on my standard model 11 action right? also how much brass do you have loaded? and can i trouble you for a picture? nealesavage@gmail.com thanks!

Large shank refers to the threads on the barrel/action. If your model 11 was originally a WSM than it is large shank.

No-go for an easy swap. But you could have it machined down and re-threaded for a small shank. Not really worth the hassle.

Large shanks are found on Savages that were chambered in RUM, WSM, and the new LRPV Target actions.
