FS: Hart SS 30 caliber rifle barrel.

I bought this barrel from RW Hart, used. It was from one of their 1000 yd competition rifles and now has approx 250 rounds thru it. Its 27" finished, not including the brake, which is included in the sale, 1-10 twist, 1.25x.950 straight taper. It has a matte finish and RW Hart Snake Skin pattern, which could be easily removed by blasting. Its threaded for a Remington 700 and currently chambered for the famous 30 Hart. I can sell it with a Redding 3-die set and brass for the 30 Hart or just the barrel. I'm selling to rebarrel with a longer tube and chamber with the 338 Edge. Asking $300 for the barrel/brake and will throw the dies/brass in for $100.

No one interested?! $250.00. Thats a slightly used Hart rifle barrel with a RW Hart muzzle brake. New cost would be approx. $500!!!! I have a buddy that wants the dies and brass if I cant sell everything as a package.

I may be interested in that if it is still avail. What is the 30 hart? I have heard of it, but am not familiar. Is it a long action, or short, magnum or non mag. Thanks. 7STW

Its based on the 300 Weatherby. The shoulder is moved up for greater case capacity and has a sharper angle. Performance is similar to 300 RUM. Bobby Hart and associates have been using it competition for years. Very accurate round.
