Hi Would it be possible to get a picture of the barrel you have for sale. I am not sure what the mtu stands for. I went to their web site and it didn't help me a bunch.

The MTU stand for Marksmanship Training Unit , its 1.25" shank thats 5" long then strait tapers to .900" at 30" , pretty heavy tube but very stiff.
