i have a 300 rum factory mag contour SS take off barrel w/factory lug and muzzle break put on by rem custom shop first owner said 150 rounds fired. asking $150 OBO + shipping

No offense intended here but I have a 300 RUM with a Shilen select match #4, 28" long with a muzzle break on a blueprinted 700 action. Shilen did all of the work about 10 years ago. I know my rifle doesn't have 100 rounds through it. It shoots very well, but I've been thinking of doing something else with this rifle and I was going to ask $125 for the barrel if I even sell it. Just a guess but I think your starting price is a bit high, sincerely.

The most I've seen anyone get on a Remington factory barrel was about $75. If you get 150, I'd like to know. Maybe I'm low-balling my own barrel.

id think youd be giving it away for $125, but maybe mine is over priced i am open to offers thats why i said OBO i would like to get it sold so lets hear some offers

you maybe right, but I've always heard that used barrels are like new cars once they drive off the lot....20% loss in value at that moment. I'll chew on the value and even ask Shilen or other bbl makers what they think their used barrels are worth.
