used broughton7mm 5c 9 twist stainless barrel
presently chambered in 7 saum imp with a heavy tubbs recoil lug threaded for a rem 700 , standard Rem 1.062"x16
this is an excellent barrel with less than 200 rounds fired thru it. barrel is 1.250 at the breech and .940 at the muzzle and is threaded for a break 5/8x24 .it is 30"long. All the machine work was done by Eric Springman

I bought this barrel here used and have decided to go in a non magnum direction so I'm asking what I paid for it. The throat is in great shape and the chamber if flawless.

The conture is heavier than a sendero conture , its a strait taper from 1.250" at the shank to .940" at the muzzle , on Broughton's web site it is a 7.9 conture.

From what I've heard this round is easly capible of 3200fps with the 180 Bergers.
