wtb 155 gr.--6.5 smk

wtb 155gr.--6.5 smk-I think Sierra no longer produces these, but I just had my 6.5x284 rebarreled and the gunsmith throated it too deep for 142gr. I happened to have some 155 and they work o.k..Thank's,Archie

Re: wtb 155 gr.--6.5 smk

I agree, but would be less hassle if I could find 155's,I have 500 and they group in the .3's at 100 yds.I thought if I could find 200--300 more the barrel would be close to re-chamber time anyway's.Thank's

You will have a time finding the 155 SMK. Get ahold of Richard Graves, owner of Wildcat Bullets. He will make you any 6.5mm bullet you want up to the huge 168 gr ULD RBBT.

Richards busy helping some of his neighbors getting their fields seeded so it may take a bit to hear back from him but be patient. He will reply and will make you exactly what you want for your 6.5.
