I've burned bunches of 8 MM Mag brass for the STW. Also used Rem 300 WBY brass but the necks come up a bit short after firing. You could even use 300 H&H brass in a pinch. 8 Mag should be just fine. After resizing you should trim case lenghts for iniformity.

7 satw

You will be just fine with 8 mag brass. That's all we had before they released 7 STW brass. Trim the whole batch to lenght after resizing for uniformity.

I've run hundreds of 8mm Rem Mag brass through my 7STW FL sizer die without any problems. I normally trim & neck turn AFTER the first firing. Rem brass is capable of shooting some small groups if the cases are match prepped.
