There are a lot of good threads and discussions on the internet for Mil and Moa scopes. Iím not going to get into that. It is a personal preference. Both are effective. It makes no difference.

For me, I like the Mil system, it seems simpler to use. My scopes, rangefinder, and spotting scope all have mil reticles. Easy to call shots.

For the calibers I shoot, the 10 mph wind is directly related to mil hold out to 600-1000 yards. 100 yards->.1 mil, 200 yards ->.2 mil, 300 yards ->.3 mil etc. easy to use. No charts. If you memorize drops to common distances it is 2 digits for mil. 6.5 mil vs 22.5 moa

In addition, the mil models of the same scope tend to have more elevation adjustment per turn. 5 mil > 10 moa.
