I have a brand new, never mounted Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm LR scope with the Boone & Crocket reticle. Plus I have the Leupold Alumina flip covers, front and back on it. I don't have the box, only the little clothe that they throw in with it.

$650 shipped and insured to your door! It's a great scope, has great reviews, I just can't stand the turrets. I'm just too used to NXS's.
Might look for some trades of equal magnification, but it's got to have 1/4 MOA target turrets. Looking at the Vortex VIPER PST 4-16X50, preferably MOA reticle.

I believe all VX 3's are 30mm tubes.

That is incorrect. VX-3 is 1" and 30mm availability.
