Previous owner had last name engraved just below where the illuminated knob would be. The print is small and not very deep. If the scope was painted you would never see it.
I bought this for a new build. However, the project is going to be delayed for a while and just have too many toys sitting around right now. This scope is built like a rock. If you have never had a USO scope in your hands you need to, these scopes are incredible.
