A Squirrelly Good Morning

It was my first day in the woods since deer hunting ended.

some of my best memories of hunting would be my early days, hunting squirrels with the 22. my gun wasn't quite as "sweet" as yours. my 22 was actually left at my dads house,by a boyfriend who dated one of his sisters. i guess they broke up and he never came and got his gun.

Great looking gun and it is sized just right for the game.

Looks like you had a fun morning.;)

I have only managed to kill one squirrel this year and that was with a muzzleloader during deer season.

It was greatly embarrassing. The firt shot went high because I didn't allow enough for scope height and the second shot went low and only broke a rear leg. Finally with the third shot I got the hold-under correct.
Suprisingly enough, the saboted 10mm Hornady XTP did expand and shredded up.
I think I need a bigger gun.

BB,

I'm laughing just thinking about that senerio. I'm guessing that the front-loader wasn't the only thing smoking---getting off 3 shots at a squirrel.:p
