Rabbits eating my apple trees
This evening my daughter tells me that a rabbit is chewing on one of my apple trees I planted in my yard(3 acres). Now I normally leave them alone but I replaced all my apple trees this year because of gurdling by the bunnies. They are starting to get out of hand in the area I live just outside of the city. So I grabbed my bow and my range finder and gave it a try. It was 46 yards.
My daughter and wife watched the arrow from inside the house hit about four inches from where I was aiming. My daughter can't wait until she can draw a bow back she claimed.

Nice shot! It looks like it won't be too long before your daughter will be big enough to start learning to shoot.

Thanks AJ, I sure am glad she takes after her mom, petite. But then again I wish she would take after me, I wouldn't have as much to worry about in a few years when the boys start sniffing around(I remember when I was that age).

Hey Brent!
Nice shot!! We could use your skills out here. Seems the Jack population exploded this winter and yes, the damaged trees is significant. Cass is really growing up fast. I'm sure soon she will love to be hunting with daddy. We really enjoyed your visit this evening.....stop by again soon.

Liz I enjoyed the visit also. You don't need my skills I have seen yours and Eli's skills. Nate is no slouch either. Next time if it isn't storming I will bring my old jolopy of a bow out and we will have a little fun.
