Winchester M-70 threads anybody know

Winchester M-70 threads anybody know

I forthe life of me can't remember what the threads are for the post 64 Winchester M-70. Anbody out their know or have one they can check? I kow its the same as the Ruger 77's

    That's an easy one... 1.0" X 16 tpi.

    Thanks , for some reason I was wanting to say that they were 1.062" x 18TPI

    Winchester threads

    1.00" X 16 tpi from the factory, if it has been rebarreled and trued you should measure it. It may and most likely will not be factory spec.
