The reason being they're considered a commercial Mauser with the same type of tolerances, (read LARGE.)
It is also said that they're not as stiff as Rem or Win actions, but I haven't seen this myself!
I have found a good many to be far truer on the action/barrel shoulder than a lot of Remingtons.
It is more difficult to true a Ruger action, but the fixture only has to be built once!
The bolts true up like any other, and the lugs are easily lapped.
It depends on how much work you want to do to them to get them right.
