Thread on brake for 1911 or bushing style

Wanting to put this on an sti spartan 5.0.

Gun Parts Warehouse | 1911 Bushing Compensator, Muzzle Brake in Black Steel - Pistol Parts

What are the pros and cons each? I like the bushing style because it's easy but will I get the same accuracy and reliability with the bushing style.
