stocks

I am looking at getting a new stock for my mark V 300 weatherby I have found an accumarck stock for cheap off a 30 378 I no the barrel channel might be different will the lugs fit

It should fit. If memory serves me correctly your Mark V in 300wby is the same action as the 30-378. The accumark stock will most likely be an HS precision stock depending on when the rifle was built. If its a good price Id say go for it.

I would double check to se if the 30-378 has a double recoil lug. Not sure at what point they add that.

The double recoil lugs are on the Mark 5 460 Weatherby Magnum only.

All others have the action recoil lug only as far as I know.

Even if the stock has the double recoil inletting, it will still fit all other Mark 5s.

even if it has the double lug, would it matter? if it was a concern couldnt it be filled with devcon or another bedding compound?

If the stock has the double recoil lug in letting, it is ok to leave it alone or fill it with bedding
compound.

All Mark 5 actions are the same if they have 9 lug Bolts.
