refinishing tikka walnut

refinishing tikka walnut

Hello I am refinishing a walnut tikka stock when taking off the orignal finish I found some nice grain. So I have only used tru oil and I want to know if there is something better out there for this project thanks in advance

    Tru Oil is a really safe finish to use and obtain good results. It's a good blend to pull figure and still be user friendly. You can gloss it up, or cut it back with some wool to break the shine. You can't go wrong with it.

    I exclusively use oil on high end wood that I make stocks with. I mix my own blend of tung oil, and spend hours, days, and months applying it to get the right finish. Sometimes I wonder why I just don't use Tru Oil...

    After trying "Pro Custom Oil" and "Linspeed" I gave away my can of True Oil,,,,, and I don't want it back!
