North Idaho Gunsmith
I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good gunsmith in the North Idaho area? Looking for one to install a barrel and fit it to a new stock, possibly some action work. thanks

Ya I would look no further than Shawn carlock he owns Defensive Edge in Rathdrum his website is www.defensive edge.com hope this helps

Shawn just finished up my 223ai. He shot a .112 group with it using factory .223 Hornady Superformance as fireforming loads so I guess he does an ok job. lol

Shawn and his dad Bob are top notch in my book!!!

Shawn would be my first choice too. but I would also check w/ Eric at mountain shadow arms in Spokane also. A couple of guys shoot F-class with us that Eric built.
