Muzzlebrake question

I have a radial brake on my rifle now that is a 5/8x 18 thread, if I want to change to a baffle brake in 5/8x 24 is my only option to cut off end of barrel and re thread.
Thanks

Re: Muzzlebrake question

You could see if the brake you want could be bought without being threaded and then be tapped for a 5/8-18. Otherwise you'll probably need to cut the old threads off your barrel and start over.

Re: Muzzlebrake question

Some of the muzzle brake guys will thread to your specs.

Call Ross Schuler and he probably can help you.
