Modifying Bell & Carlson Stock

I just bought a Bell & Carlson carbelite stock for my trusty old Springfield. I need to cut a bolt notch in it to accomodate my turned bolt. Are there any tricks to doing this or should I just go to town with a dremel tool and file?

Re: Modifying Bell & Carlson Stock

Dremel and sanding drum should do the trick in short order.
