    I waited 2 years for a couple of rifles because I did not know better, and still had to do some
    work on them and then decided to just start building them myself.

    Not to long ago a friend brought me a box of rifle parts that he had been waiting on for 7 years
    for his smith to assemble. I built the rifle in less than 3 weeks.

    3 to 4 weeks time is plenty if the smith has time to dedicate to your rifle if he has everything
    nessary.
