what would you build on it?

I have one that hasn't been sporterized, and am thinking about a future project. Would plan to have it sporterized before building something out of it.

Just looking for thoughts.

You gave me a great idea, what about a .338 Norma Mag?

I thought about that too. It can be done but needs quite a bit of work with a larger case head, lengthening the mag and adjusting the feed rails among a fees other things, unless you do a single shot then it makes life a little easier. Im just about finished with my 338 RUM on a 1917 and i don't think I'll be doing another any time soon.

Any standard mag case should fit right in there with very little work.

Yeah I thought about that, right after I posted. Back to the drawing board. thinking something of the WSM variety or standard mag belted case now.

How bout 264 or 338 WM. I'm a fan of the saum cartridges too.

You hit the nail on the head, that is my delima, I've always wanted a 6.5/264 as well as a .338, its a hard decision. Ha Ha Thats probably the 2 calibers that I would narrow it down to.
