HS precision stock question

I have a M70 classic ss mag bedded into a HS precision stock....I would like to put a decelarator or limb saver pad on it to replace the hard rubber one that it comes from HS with...I would like to do this myself if possible...How is the stock pad on the HS attached , Glue ?
Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

i was wondering the same thing! i don't see any screw wholes holding it in?? maybe a call to H-S?
