A word on Nightowl gunsmithing in SLC, UT. Took a Remy 700 to get it crowned, bed the action, and to get a shilen trigger put in. Picked it up today and was a little dissapointed with it. The crown was great. He bedded 2 1/2" into the chamber/barrel instead of the common 2" (I'll have to see how this shoots like that). The thing that got me the most upset was, was that he didn't install a shilen, but instead a Basix trigger. He did not call me and tell me shilens were sold out and asked if I wanted to subsitute a different trigger or wait. I don't know much about Basix triggers (I'll find out tomorrow), but very dissapointed with his choice and not notifying me. If I don't like the Basix, I know I'll be down there and have my old trigger put in and either refund me or get the Shilen trigger I requested.
