What cartridges will work in a M70 WSSM action?, it's 243 WSSM now. I want to keep it 6mm or maybe hot .22 for smaller deer and pests.

You are limited to any WSSM cartridge unless you can get a replacement bolt.

If you want to wildcat it, than you could do something like a 6.5 wssm, or the factory 25 wssm, but the 22 wssm is pretty badly overbore and will eat the barrel pretty qickely.

This one is very good on deer size game and will deal with pest
proficiently !

It would be a strait forward re barrel job and ammo is available.
