Can you use a Jewell trigger in a post-2006 Rem 700?
I recently purchased a new 700 CDL ss/fluted and would like replace the X-Mark Pro with a Jewell trigger. Does anyone know of any issues with doing so? I ask because I see Timney makes a "Pre" and "Post" 2006 trigger (my understanding is the X-Mark Pro started being used in/around 2006), while Jewell does not show a trigger specifically for guns that had X-Marks in them. Will a Jewell trigger even work in the newer rifles?
Thanks in advance!
Phil

I am pretty sure that some of the guns I have been using jewel triggers in are post 2006, so should not be a problem.

I don't think that you should have an issue with the swap, but call the folks at Jewell anyway to make sure. (512) 353-2999
I think that the only difference is the internal geometery.
