I'm partial to my brake of coarse but there are a number of good brakes out there, I would lean toward a side ported just in case you you shoot on the ground off bipod they don't throw dirt up.
The simple CSR brake from by Center Shot Rifles is the one I use the most of. It is very effective. The only one that works any better is the Holland Radial QD brake. No need to ship your whole rifle. Just make an index mark at 6 oclock to let us know which way goes straight down for timing.

Advantage is weight, out on the end of a 26" barrel a few ozs. in a game of trying to save ozs. could be important. Maybe balance the rifle a little better, or maybe not effect the barrel vibrations as much as a heavvier one. 30 degree slanted ports with about braking surface as I can get in a small brake weighing .82 oz for the 3/4" brake.
