As the title reads I have a 7mm stw that I was wandering if this action and bolt face would work so that I could use remington 300 rum brass . If this questions sounds dumb i'm sorry I'll never know unless I ask.

Bigbuck, The 7stw has a magnum bolt face of .532 inch. The Rums are .535
Remington builds them on the same action so either is interchangable with the other. The only modification is a barrel swap and the need for a window style box for the ultra mags.
