35 BR anyone

Gentlemen,
Here in Indiana regulations on cartridges for deer hunting have been loosened over the past few years. My neighbor and I have been thinking of how we could get a bolt rifle in the woods. We want to keep it relatively fast and we are thinking we would like to get a 180-200 grn bullet to work. He must have been thinking alot and after all he is a BR guy. He already made a test case pretty easily.
Wondering if anyone knows of anyone who has tried this combo. Looking for any info.

Thanks, Grin

Re: 35 BR anyone

So long as the cartridge develops enough energy to humanely put the animal down, go for it.

I think you'll find though that the challenge is going to be making a rifle feed this case reliably. It can be done, but prepare for a bit of work.

Good luck.
