I have a stock Remingtom700 VLS (.308)real nice shooter at 100. but if I shoot out to 300 all shots are 3to 4 inches to the right. I am using a 168 Speer all loads are weighed right on the money and the lengths are just under the grooves. What the hey is going on here?
I don't have this problem with my Remi .223...Also...there is no wind, and its on 3/4@100..barrel is cold, and the temp in field is 70 degrees.

Re: Help!

You scope could be mounted with a cant. When you dial up your elevation it can move you poi right or left depending on which way it is canted.

Re: Help!

Or, your scope could be straight and you could be shooting with a cant.

If some is good and more is better, then too much is just right.

My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought, cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives
