White Elk



Photo sent to me by a friend. I've never seen white elk. Some white deer yes, but never a white elk.

looks like they even spray painted the antlers on the one on the left.

I believe that is the velvet. If he's albino, ALL his hair/skin would be white.

A few years back I saw one that was about 340. Pretty cool to see. I don't think these are "albino" as they have pigment in their skin (brown nose gives this away easily). I wish we could of got on him, but I did hear that a white bull that was 360 was killed the following year in the area so I assume it was him.
