Question Digital Cameras ?

Gents, I'm looking to purchase a decent digital in the near future. Uses will be outdoors (game, scenery, load test groups) and indoors (kids, etc). I'm not an overly savvy photograhper, so it'll have to be fairly uncomplicated. Some magnification will be desirable, as will the need for close ups. Also, unlike the crappy Kodak I first purchased, ease of transfer to internet applications will be necessary. I'm somewhat flexible on price. Opinions & experiences APPRECIATED !

I would suggest looking at the Nikon D40x.

Gray Market

I'm looking into buying a new telephoto lens. Does anybody have any experiences with gray market ones? Looking at Tamron 300mm 2.8 for my new Canon 40d.

The Pentax Optio W30 will exceed your expectations. Fits in your shirt pocket, waterproof, dustproof, and takes awesome video clips. Great battery life too!
