Black Hills, SD Big Horn Sheep (inside Rapid City city limit)

well i can't get the photo to save, but IF you have facebook (i know many of you don't), this picture is of a big Horn Sheep I took on the outskirts of Rapid City, SD. we were about 25-30 yards away and took it with a point and shoot digital camera. absolutely majestic! there were about 15 sheep in the group and this one was BY FAR the Alpha Male of the group. my first time to see one in real life. i was absolutely astonished. amazing creatures!

I couldn't pull up the pic. I'll bet you were over by the fish hatchery and dog park, since it's inside city limits.

These were just out 44 a little way past the hatchery. If I ever get drawn, that's the area I'll hunt!
