Re: What bow brand do you shoot

Bowhunting is my 1st love and I 'm a traditional archer.

2 Zipper recurves(one that the riser is made out of a elk antler)
Fredick longbow
Stalker recurve
Great Northern recurve
Robertson stikbow recurve
Habu longbow

The Habu is my fav.

Looks like from the number of bows you list, that you have been in the sport
for some time. I only own one long bow and it's as old as I am. I have never
strung it for fear of it breaking, even though i use a bow stringer to string
my recurves with.

I am a dedicated archer, I might shoot fingers one day and a hot double cam
bow with a release the next. My state of residence does not allow crossbows
for hunting. If they did, I might own one of those.

I believe in one thing for all shooting disciplines and that is Practice, practice,
practice.

It isn't the device that propels the missel that wins the match, It's the
person shooting the device that wins.

Post some photos of the bows, would love to see the one with the elk antler riser.

Re: What bow brand do you shoot

Bear bow I bought in 2007 as a 2006 leftover I believe. Works well enough for me, especially after shooting with some folks sponsored by big names in the industry.
