Anyone here hunt/shoot traditional?
By traditional, I mean non-wheel bow. I've got a couple of the compounds, but I just can't get that same feeling of enjoyment that I do with my recurve. I just bought (will be here in 5 weeks) a Quinn's Stallion with metal riser and laminated limbs. The bow riser window is past center shot so rest or shelf shooting should be great. Has all the accessory holes, so anything can be done to it. I can shoot a groups twice as large with my recurve with no sights and no release (I shoot compounds fingers also) and get twice the satisfaction than when I shoot the wheel bow. Going on my first hog hunt next month with the recurve, gotten them with pistol, compound, and knife, but I'm REALLY looking forward to this one!
