Re: YO DAVE trigger kit - CZ 455 install

tulku,

i'll try to mic the tubes for wall thickness, but i can tell you (honestly) i'll probably forget.

if you go to the yodave site and use the "contact us" you actually get a response including whatever specs. i asked on there a question, and actually got a quick and honest answer. that route would probably be the best.

i know i've seen the measurements on a forum somewhere, unfortunately i can't recall which one. either rimfire shooting, RFC, or steelchickens was the forum.

i think (but not sure) the supplied instructions had the circumferances, but not sure of the wall thickness. i'll take a look at them later today as they are in easy access and post 'em if they are noted.

TULKU,

in the directions and confirmed by mic:

blue = .010 wall thickness, (no mic, that's the installed one)

green = .012 wall thickness, .152 diameter

black = .014 wall thickness, .153 diameter

red = .016 wall thickness, .154 diameter

Agreed this is a real nice kit.. I had my done in about 15 minutes just because I couldn't decide which shim I liked best.. I do know just the light spring alone without the shim was a great feel and took up most of the creep too.. I was concerned about the bump test but someone said they only use the rubber mallet on the receiver and not slamming the stock butt on the ground. So I tried that and so far no issues.

Great write up. Best $15 I've ever spent on a firearm. My CZ trigger after the install is one of my favorite triggers on any rifle I own.
