Re: Where to BUY 22LR
Local pawn shops depending on what you are looking for sometime you find single shots, tube fed, mag fed type rifles might be able to get them on a reduced price for large buy. or maybe put out flyers for possible donations

For your type of problem, you might want to contact
CCI
2299 Snake River Avenue

Ask for their "PR guy" and explain what your doing with the 4-H and the shortage you've ran into.
CCI is always willing to help when they can, specially involving clubs and young shooters.
Good luck and great program.

Re: Where to BUY 22LR
Between the panic buyer and the slob that buys up as much ammo as they can then tries selling it at two to three times the price on-line for profit it's gonna be tough to find right now.

Re: Where to BUY 22LR
Thank you everybody for the input.. GREAT NEWS... I put the word out that we were looking and that I wold buy some ammo and people started donating ammo for the kids... Man, I was very pleasantly surprised.. It just confirms that the shooting community is very supportive of the youth.

Ditto...
That said, premium ammo can be found online Wolf, Lapua, Eley. Seems the dumb panicked, and greedy slobs draw a line for top shelf ammo. The slobs can sell CCI and the cheap stuff for 3x what they paid but Eley Tenex will be a hard sell for 50 rounds at $60. The bulk and cheap ammo will be the last to normalize. Speaking of greedy slobs Alamo and SurplusAmmo make that list. I'll never spend a dime with those retailers.

+1! Most companies are more than happy to support such a program ... besides, it never hurts to ask.
Good luck!
