I was going to say sell the Ruger and go buy a Savage MKII with a bull barrel . IMO like the CZ, great rifles for the money.

Re: i need a recipe on how to make a new 10/22 rifle.

I have a 10/22 carbine that'll shoot 1 hole groups at 50 yards. Original stock, barrel, iron sights, polished and filed the trigger and sear a bit, polished and jeweled the bolt, and did the automatic bolt release modification. A "sleeper" if you will. I have shot the living tar out of it, and it still holds true. I carry it on the quad or in the truck everywhere I go. But if you want to shoot 150 yards a tactical solutions barrel and a boyd's stock will get you what want out of it.
