    Mossberg MVP in .223, you can always get a small mag for it if mag length is an issue.

    I like the longer barrel of the Martin. Did not like the plastic stock, not as good as savage synthetic. So I replaced it with a wood stock.

    I stated previously, I bought a Savage 11 in 223 and it's a tack driver out of the box sending Hornady SPBT's in 55 grain.

    But then I like Savage rifles in general.

    Yes I like Savage Rifles also. But they are not the only
    dog in the fight.
