What do you mean "get out to 500 yards with it"? With a 100 gr. bullet, just lay down and shoot it!

But around here there are not many places for you or I to do that. It'd be more like rest across the hood or mirror or roof of your truck and just shoot.
Man, I need to go hunting with you. Hats off to you. I hope to be there some day. I think you can do a lot with a 243. I am shooting a 25-06. I just have been having a hard time finding them.
