That's a pretty dang good group! Is this consistent, or is this the best group so far? Check out the review, lol, my rifle averages about .28" for 4 to 5 shots @ 100 yds. 33.3 grs. Varget under a 52 gr. HP Berger. Savage model 12 long range precision.

they were consistent, i worked up eight different loads and then went back up shot four more sets at 41.0 ,40.5 ,39.5 ,39.0 ,. 38.5 w/ h-380 and i wanted to double check the top 5 loads just to make sure . 41.0 g was suppose to be the most accurate through Noslers data but mine just wasent tight enough at the much grain.. 39.5 was the best , so i loaded more up and went up and shot more at 39.5 and there very consitent, and i was shooting off my dog-gone-good shooting bags to !

Yeah ,It's the Stainless Ruger Varmit in 223 .. I topped it with a 6x18 Leupold ,, It shoots 40 Ballistic tips real tight .

That is a nice Ruger collection. I love the old M77V.

Re: 22-250 load

I use 36.5 grs Varget with 50 gr V-Max for 1/4" groups @ 100yds
The Varmint Granade bullets in 50 gr aren't any good at long ranges due to fliers.............I have used 36 gr & 50 gr Granade bullet and won't be using them again.
At 200-400 yds in Kansas last year they would hit on one time and up to 20' off the next with 10-20mph winds. Not so with the 40-50gr V-Max bullets.
Drift on V-Max bullets is 6" max in our observation.
We shoot 600 rounds each in one day with three calibers.
I did print so good groups @ 100 with Granade bullets, but past that I would get fair groups with fliers.
I then used Granda bullets only for close range.

Using in both Savage VLP 1-12 twist, 22-250 and Savage 110 action and VLP barrel 1-12 twist chambered in 22-250 AI.
