165 Yard Ground Hog

I went out today hoping to get some footage of me shooting a ground hog with my 357... I got some.

Not that long of a distance, but for an iron sighted pistol I am pleased.

I have no luck at all when I hold over so what i do is drop the back sight to a specific level. That way I can still see the target.

This is how I held the sights, the ground hog where I want to hit it right at the top center if the front sight blade.

I have memorized the points I need to hold at, at 50 yard increments up to 250 yards. I missed at 300 yards 7 times so I'll have to wait until I get a scope to see if I can go even further.

Thats some good shooting. I quite using a pistol years ago because I couldn't hit anything with one that had a scope on it. Keep trying and you'll hit that 300 yarder. Goodluck
