You are correct. You just have to do it once to understand the importance of beam divergence on small targets or targets with ground clutter at extended distances. What is neat is when you can raise over their backs just a little and it goes way out there or past 3000 yards which is as far as I have ranged with this unit. Then when you come back down on the target you get the same number you were getting.

At this distance the crosshairs in a PLRF10 cover a good portion of a yotes body, so a steady rest is manditory.
