1+ on Hornadys 53gr V-Max in .223 Rem shoots 3/4 inch groups at 200 yds yes a great bullet in my 700 tried Noslers 49gr BT. Sierra 50gr Blitz King. But Hornadys the Winner.

For hunting I have found myself using 55 gr. a most exclusively. For targets, I like the 69 gr SMK. All my rifles have 1:9 twist.

I am thinking of buying a Savage Model 10 Predator Hunter in 22-250
    8.5 lbs plus scope say 1.5lbs = 10lbs - 24" bbl & 12 twist. Any views on it.
Loaded with Hornady 53gr. V-Max (.290 BC) and 55gr. GMX (.245 BC) for deer. Any views on the GMX? Also is 12 twist ok?

I liked the 75-80 grain amax in my 22-243 middlested.
will be trying the 80 gr jlk in my 22x47 lapua this year. the heavier the better IMO.

I have a 1x9 twist RRA Coyote Carbine that likes the following in order.

    1. 75grn TAP FPD
    2. 69grn SMK
    3. 55grn V-Max

All groups are under 1"@100yds. The TAP ammo is consistent at 200yds.
