What about Sierra Blitzking for Coyotes

My AR-15 loves those 55gr Blitzking. Is a Hornady V-max tougher? My AR-15 seems to love Sierra bullets the best.

Hey what is an Iron Worker?

I love those Hornady V-Max bullets, we use them in the .223, .222 Rem. and the .243. Yes, all factory loads too. All calibers listed above in our rifles get under .650 groups. The .222 Rem. gets .385 groups. No need to reload bullets for these rifles. Hornady did a great job putting bullets together and all is well with them in our factory rifles.

People often confuse us Iron Workers with steel workers. Iron Workers traditionally build High Rise buildings and bridges. But we work where ever union Iron is being erected or rigged.( In the big cities)Also we do a lot of rigging,( working with Tower cranes,Friction cranes) As where steel workers work in steel mills making steel from Iron ore . They used to work in Steel mills in Indiana . Those have since closed down, now our steel comes from abroad.

I have shot both and both work well for varmints, I have a couple rifles that love the 55gr Blitzking but my AR-15 prefers the 60gr V-Max.
As far as being tougher this is a no-contest category the hornady V-Max and A-Max are the most frangible bullets you will EVER find.
For Coyotes the Blitzkings are a better choice because they will most likely stay together until they hit flesh or bone and the V-Max will start to come apart on the fur and might not make deep enough penetration to hit a vital.

I think what you are trying to say, and correct me if I am wrong that the Hornady will preserve the fur and the Sierra kill the animal but make a mess

I've used V-Max's for coyotes at all ranges. All one shot and drop. No problems encountered with penetration. Skinned em all for fur and to observe bullet performance. All have been 40 gr Hornady factory loads in 204 Ruger. Near shot was 24yds and long was 336.
