Question What about Sierra 65gr Game King for Coyotes

Not having good luck with A-Max bullets. I ordered some Sierra 65gr Game King bullets I wonder if they'll open up on a Coyote?

What are the A-Max not doing for you ?

I'd say the 65gr gamekings would make a great coyote bullet -i have a box myself but have yet to load any up for testing.
Any game bullet will make a good coyote bullet at moderate ranges -but way out yonder a plastic tip bullet will react much faster giving better expansion at the lowered velocities.

My favorite and my guns favorite is the 55gr sierra blitzking out of a 26" barreled 22-250 ,it either kills them or takes off whatever it hits.
Also you can buy them in 500 count boxes !!!!!!----Mike

I shoot 77 grain Sierra BTHP through my Custom AR. I am not into the fur, but want to get rid of the SOB's, so shot placement in the vitals and these ol dog's are ded where they stand

What are you shooting ?

The Amax and Vmax bullets should both be ideal for coyotes. I have used them both for years in 220 Swift, 22-250, and 243 standard and AI versions.

What are your ranges, load, rifle used, twist rate, velocity,.... etc. ??

tell me more what problems you are having.

thanks

Rnnn Worker, I truly don't know why those Hornady A-Max are not doing the job. I love shooting the A-Max bullets in factory ammo. I can't seem to match their shot groups with my reloads in calibers .223 and the Triple Deuce .222Remmy.

Why you can bet your goats milk those 65 grainer Sierra "Game Kings" will work! If you don't mind me asking, what caliber are you shooting at those coyotes? My wife shoots 75 grain bullets out of her .243 model 75 and I use the 100 grain pill using my 1/4 model 70 Winchester.
