I ummmmm, well maybe, I ummmm know a guy that may or may not have been at the range and one may have landed at the base of his target at 100 yds, he may have picked out the fat one of the the three...it seemed like it was slowing down the other two and resting on my...his target stand.
I do know that it went POOF and he found a wing.

223 40 gr moly v max with 28 grains of Benchmark........so I hear

+ a whole bunch on the 87 vmax. I've used them in a .243 AR10 for a while now. They work to waaaay out there. Farthest kill was a pdog at 720 with very good expansion. The load is 43 gr of H4350 and 210m. That gives 3270 fps. 44.5 gr gives 3330 fps. Critters can't tell the difference between the two but than neither can I. By the way it works on antelope too. I would hesitate using it on a big mulie buck, but on does I'd use it in a second. These are sub moa loads in my rifle. I've shot too many 1/4 and 1/3 moa groups with this load to remember. It is one of the first bullets I tried in my rifle (I've tried a bunch since) and it is the one I return too. Use them. They work! I think I am 30 to 35 thou from the lands.

I prefer the 75g 6mm V max over the 87.....

at my 400 yd range, the higher velocity makes up for less BC.

If you try the 75's in your 6mm Rem, I suggest that you try IMR 4064, my load is 42.0g with a Fed 210 primer in a Win case at 3500+ fps out of a 24" barrel.
